Leaky-a$$ trunk!!

my carpet isn't wet either and my leak is from the taillight like I said before. if you go to the dealer than they are gonna charge you a lot. what you do is take the plastic moldings and carpet from inside your trunk and then get a hose and spray it at the edges of the taillights, edges of the trunk lid or wherever else you think it's coming from(not all at once though or else you wont know where the leak is coming from). then get it fixed or get some silicone to cover it up
 
My Passenger Taillight leaked on my 99 Prot ES, fixed at dealer under warranty. The Jack storage area always got wet. Also, on a side note, I had the 99 ES in for service when it was less than a year old because of a "clunking" sound (I pulled up the letter that I wrote to the dealer and I had used those EXACT words back in early 2000, it made me laugh). Damn the CLUNK!!!!

Look for little rubber pegs or plugs. Pull them. If water gets in there, it will drain out.
