Last O2 sensor question, I promise

Does anyone know if a Honda O2 sensor will work in place of mine, since mine seems to be burnt out? The Honda one looks like ours, 2 black wires, a blue wire, and a white wire. Is it a simple swap? Well, after I splice my harness onto it.

I wonder..I have the same problem...And i probly have to do same thing...I was thinking maybe the one for a ford probe would work also!

ok maybe you didnt understand the question.. the question was.. will it work.. not if mr high and mighty will put it on his car.. the theory is all 4 wire o2 sensors are the same.. and you just have to splice the plug on.. yes or no??

only way to find out is to get one. i might get one to test it out. guess in theory it should.

im thinkin it will.. the reason is we already have a o2 from a civic.. and no one has the ones for the mazda. -=\ suxz...
so we are thinkin cut an splice. -=P

I am having a simialr problme..I started a thread about my problems w/ the o2 sensor..and am looking for a way..to replace the o2 sensor & the platic connector...

Tonka, mine is the second one, which is in my catless downpipe. I figured it had something to do with the DP being installed, but Pfizzle's friend said it could just be a bad sensor. I've got 30,000 miles on it, so maybe it's just time for a new one. I'll fill you guys in on Tuesday night.

Sorry, but my knee is all screwed up right now, and I've been taking care of a lot of paper work for workmans comp and stuff...Me and Pfizzle haven't forgotten about it, but I can't even drive right now, so working on my car is out of the question. I'll try to get this done ASAP, but I can't promise a day now.
