lamin-x fog light install ???

I was just wondering how most of you guys installed the lamin-x fog light covers. Did you take off the black housing around the lamp, if so what was the easiest way...thanks

It's way easy - nothing to take apart. Just make sure you spray the sticky side with plenty of soapy water and move it around until you get to where you're happy. It'll be foggy for a few days and will clear up. The instructions are really good.

ive read the pre cut ones don't cover perfectly how bad is the gap when using them?

mine don't have a noticeable gap.

i would advise against using the water/soap combo -- from my experience w/ vinyl -- this comes in more useful for larger pieces, but for smaller things like this it should take you a handful of trying eyeballing it till you get it right. if find its a pain to get all the water/soap out....thats just what worked for me though...

just got it done.. it was easy... but it seems there are small blemish like areas like it wasn't cleaned good enough (but it was!)... its not a big deal... you cant see it when a car distance or so away from... and YES there is a small area on in the outer corner that does not get covered but that too you can't see when your looking at it from a short distance.
