so last saturday i picked up 'Lucy' my new 89 FC Turbo II

i just got the title transferred and plates so i'm legal to drive! yay!

i got it for only 3.5k, and there are things wrong with it, but many that are easily fixable!

the mods already on before i bought it:

RacingBeat Exhaust
Walbro 255 fuel pump
fuel cut defender (or is it defencer?)
A/C deleted
turbo timer

the body has just over 154k on it but no rust on it at all except just some tiny spots on the sunroof... the engine is new along with a new clutch, both with about 55k miles on it


now the bad:

the interior has seen better days, but its mostly just the drivers seat that's really bad, but overall it just needs a good cleaning.
there are back seats and a privacy cover, both of which i'll be removing...
oil cap is cracked
drivers door won't lock/unlock with the key... bummer
engine bay needs a cleaning along with some fluids need to be flushed
backup lights are believed to be not working
fuel gauge doesn't work (easy fix hopefully)


Some of my mod plans are:

short throw shifter
urethane motor mounts

...so far this is all that i can afford
i'd like to do FMIC and Coilovers but that'll prob be later...

yea the 2x2 FC's are really rare, especially if its a TurboII.

yup, it's not supposed to be there stock, someone definitely put them; they are a dark maroon color leather... and you could really ever fit a 5 year-old back there anyway

i know i don't want them... i'm probably going to take it out and sell it.

that is a clean looking fc.some of those problems are minor.reverse switch is probally bad, $25 at advance, spray some pb blaster on the lock cylinder or some graphite in the key hole.And as far as those back seats go, i got the factory rear seat delete and bins ill trade for those back seats.Good looking car, good luck with it
