Kia help

This should probably go in the performance section but, it's not a mazda so i'll post it here. My boss just bought a new Kia Sephia for her daughter and wants to mod it a little bit. What I need to know is a good source of aftermarket Kia parts, i've searched a little so far and haven't found anything. Specifically what I need is the offset necessary for 15" wheels and a short shifter. If any of yall know of a good place to buy from please let me know.

No, unfortuantely it's not a joke....honestly I never thought I'd be trying to hook-up a Kia...but hey thats what she wants so, im just tryin to oblige her. At first she wanted like the 5" tip muffler and some other things, but I managed to talk her out of that. the wheels won't hurt cause it's got 14" steelies on it now, and the damn shifter is up at my chest in that thing...so the short shifter isn't so bad, besides the fact her daughter's never driven a stick so a car that shifts about as sloppy as a russian UAV isn't gonna help much.

Sorry can't help you with any parts for a Kia.

Just thought you may be trying to make everyone laugh. I'm at work and the person in the cubicle next to me ask me what was so funny when I burst out laughing. Good luck to you. I beleive you're going to need it. I'm thinking any performance parts for Kia are few and far between.

i know there is a performance kia board...but i can't remember what the url is...just do a search and i'm sure they might be able to help you out.

you can punch in the model and year on tirerack.com for the wheels. Even Kosie K1s will fit it.

damn, i use to know a sight where they sold hyundai, kia and Daewood performance mods and kits.....

Yeah, the hundayi and daewoo site is DMK racing. They've got some good stuff body kit wise for the sephia but I doubt I could talk her into that. Wheel's I've got covered...she's kind of conserveitive so I suggested the Borbet Type B and E's and maybe a set of Rota's if she wanted a little wilder look...still can't find a shifter though.

oh sorry you wanted real help.. okay found this!

Hey thanks for all the help guys, the article on the short shifter was excatly what I was looking for. I will say I was actually suprised at how the kia will run....looks like it's got the 1.8 DOHC out a miata in it.
