How the hell do you guys keep your cars clean. I have to clean mine every couple weeks or even less but I'm too lazy.

Vancouver's rain is killing me! As well, I get lots of dirt build up on the back of the car since water doesn't run off there. Any hints?

i have to clean mine once a week to keep it looking decent...too dusty in TX

I would but it's too damn cold here. Wax help? I'm thinking about getting my car detailed soon. Some professional help for the dirty thing...

I havent waxed my car since the summer, as its just too cold here as well. As for touchless car washes, I dislike, I prefer the wand washes, not only is it cheaper, you have control over the cleaning. I usually bring one of those sheep mitts with me and use the foam brush for soap. The only time that brush touches my car is when I scrub the bottom of my side skirt...its NASTY under there! Basically it will only last so long, but be thorough with your wash, spend maybe 4-6 bucks. BTW unless you are willing to shell out the cash, Id wait until spring rolls around for some professional detailing.

im lucky i have a friend that works at a car wash so i get my car cleaned for free whenever i want to drive to the car wash

go buy a clay bar and clean it yourself after the winter. :)

is there an easy way to clean the front windsheild? its always hell for me and i never get it right.. theres always some streak or dust from the rag or newspaper.

Georgia has wayyyyyy too many pine trees for my floors to stay clean, as soon as i get in my car after it's been vacuumed, i have like 5 more pine needles on my floor mats.

You guys need to move to Florida. I clean my car once a week and it stays clean for a while as long as it doesnt rain. Its been like 70 degrees the past month or so and no rain at all.

Easy....

I never drive my P5 if it looks like rain or there is greater than a 20% chance of it....
I never drive my P5 if it has rained and the streets are wet....
I never drive my P5 if its foggy outside.....
Its ALWAYS kept in the garage.....
its a year and two months old and has NEVER been washed....only dusted off and cleaned with a dry wax.

(stash).....yeah I know...you guys hate me!

WHAT!!

But babying your P5 is half the fun of owning it. Mine gets cleaned every single weekend, regardless of weather. If its raining, it gets rolled into the garage (after I kick the miata out).

Using the detailing spray also helps in keeping it clean without having to fully wash it.

See Clean. Just look at the sun shining in the foglight openings

People walking by though I was strange with the car fully jacked up and me on the lawn crusing while cleaning the inside of the rims. Argggh dang road salt!!
