Looks a little close to the master cylinder...could cause a rubbing issue down the road. I thought mine was fine after the install and i blasted around town..a little later it
was rubbing. could also just be the angle of the photo. -looks great though!!

you should pay close attention to your master cylinder. when i set mine up for short ram it looked fine, but when i did the cold air it looked just like yours. one of my friends told me to try to angel it a little more, but it's hard to explain what im talking about so i'll stop here...., sorries but try to move it over a little if you can because when your engine knocks or you get wheel hop you will definitely hear it go clunk, and you might get a dent in your intake tube.

When mine rubbed and scratched the throttle body tube..i mentioned it to K&N. They sent a free replacement. K&N rocks!

Nice nice, how much did you pay for that puppy? Like everyone's sayin..be wary of the rubbing.. during idle, as well as under load.

vividracing.com has the best price. $219 w/out shipping. they have good customer service too. most of my friend's have bought their intakes from them.

thanks......for the nice comments....as for the rubbing part....could someone photoshop or circle on one of my pics what ur talking about.....cause to me everything looks fine.....show me plz....im concerned now...lol

Nice setup.

But I wonder if the location of the maf has to do with anything with how the K&N can have a bit more horse power then the Injen CAI and the ebay CAI? From his install pictures the maf is right in front of the throttle body, on mines its near the battery. Any ideas?

Or did I install it wrong?

Picture of mines...

Wow that looks nice.

I wish I had that instead of my ebay SRI with a K&N filter. I had issues with the tube rubbing on the brake master cylinder too. I made a mount and bent it out until the intake tube had plenty of clearance.

But I am happy with the K&N because I got better performance on the dyno than other people had with the INJEN CAI

It looks like you have the throttle body tube going into the wheel well in that
pic.....hmmm, unless thats the Injen.
