also got the radiator hoses in the mail...but i didnt check the mailbox so i didnt see them until i checked the tracking number about 20 mins ago lol
Oh well, at least it'll be running tomorrow :D

Well, after ******* up 2 fuses...(i tried pulling the injector fuse out with pliers, it was stuck, now its broken) and messing with the car for a good 20 mins.
IT RUNS :D

it didnt at first, i couldnt figure out wht it was, well after comparing every plug in my brothers engine bay to mine, turns out i put the plugs to the coils backwards. I did a wire tuck, so the plugs werent where they were normally, and after switching them around, it started and ran like a champ :) BUT, my boost gauge isnt functioning properly...with the key on, engine off, its at the bottom where its supposed to be. Key on, engine on, its pegged all the way up. Any ideas?

well, i think it's because there's wiring backwards.

well thats the problem, it worked before it broke down, and now it doesnt. but ill def check the wiring

and no videos as of yet, I cant get out of the driveway because my brothers car is blocking me in -_-

Congrats, man! I bet it was good to hear it fire up again in 4 months.

My oil pressure guage is pegged at full too, looks like a wiring problem. ProSports website says it's not getting a good enough ground. Of course this is apples to oranges but worth a try. But weird that it worked fine before the swap.

not really weird. he messed with the wiring when he did a tuck. so that's likely where it heppened.

I stand corrected. I thought I read he didn't mess with any wiring. Been a long night on the forums... heh-heh. Regardless, probably a bad ground.

well, i didnt mess with any wiring, IN THE CAR lol i did a wire tuck in the bay and all the wiring for the boost guage is inside the car
...but anyways, ill get it figured out.
After putting the AWR pan on, i noticed how low it sits, i may have to raise the car up and buy some 17s....already have tires for them from work.
Got my eyes on a set of 17x9's

huh. i thought it looked like it sat higher in the pics. why not just make a scrape guard? like weld a plate beneath it.

look at the pan in comparison to the subframe, its almost parallel. and i really dont feel like adding another 30lbs of sheet metal when I can just raise it. Ill prob buy the wheels sometime at the end of the week

very nice.. It took me like 2 days to read thru this thread... you got a sick car man.

thanks! Well after driving the car, some issues came up. Which I expected lol
heres a list of things i need to fix before i go tune and take some vids:
*Fix boost guage/Buy new boost guage
*Fix throttle hang (vacuum leak)
*Fix rattle from exhaust hitting the crossmember.

I smoke tested my intake manifold today at work, and i have a huge leak right at the TB gasket, so ill be ordering a new one tomorrow along with some other parts pending how much money I get this check. Sorry for the boring updates but I want the video to be awesome :D

Bought and installed the new throttle body gasket. Car idles like a champ now, warm starts are still a bit iffy, but it doesnt die right away anymore so thats good.
Now to address the boost guage issue tomorrow

lol paitence sir. I just ordered an AEM boost guage, and bought some parts to clean up the rats nest of wire that I have sitting in behind my guages. Ill post some pics tomorrow of what it looks like now, and what it looks like after I finish, minus the AEM boost guage. Once I get the guage in, then I can start posting some videos :D
