got paid today, as soon as Sam emails me back to confirm, im going to be ordering supertech valve guides, OEM valve seals, and a new intake mani gasket. Thats all Ill be doing this paycheck. Next check ill prob throw down a down payment on the 505 intake mani, buy the AWR pan, and get this s*** running again.

Im taking my time putting it back together, i want to have it running already but it'll be worth the wait, hopefully

Glad you're getting it all figured out and back together man.

This is kind of irrelevant, but to keep your mind off of some stress with getting your car back up, check this out. (Specifically at the 0:03-0:06 mark)

You should stick with the wheel combo (headbang)

yea, i just hate that everyone is going to assume I stole his style...oh well

just got an email back from cross-over, the total for supertech dual springs, retainers, guides, and special oil seals is $565, not bad i suppose. Ill be dropping the cash on those next check, then getting this s*** put back together already!!!

you have to use a smaller diameter oil seal with the super tech dual valve springs. You used to have to machine the stock valve guides but then they came out with these so no more special machining now you just replace them.

Interesting. They look like the stock one they came on my cometic kit. I know about the new special bronze valve guides bug haven't heard about the need for these special seals

Damn iT!! Placed the order and sam emailed me back saying the springs arent in stock like he originally said they were...so they'll come in 2 weeks. A minor set back but it'll give me more time to buy other stuff and upgrade while the cars all taken apart anyways

Ordered:
Supertech Manganese Bronze Valve Guides
Supertech Dual Spring Valve Springs & Ti Retainers (comes with special seals)

Will be ordering:
AWR Oil Pan
505 IM
Perrin Fuel Rail
BC Coilovers
Oil Squirter
Clutch
Flywheel
Trans parts

Probably in that order

Yup, I dont plan on throwing my car into any corners at 5k rpms, so buying the doc b pump, and all the lines wouldnt do anything for me. I know a friend who has one, and didnt notice any difference in oil pressure, or driveability at all. Only reason im buying the AWR is for the added capacity, and because it comes with a fitting already on it for the turbo drain.

well jagan also only drove on that system for about 1,200 miles and he didnt have a working oil pressure gauge in before that so....

and also shouldnt the tranny parts be on top?

Well for the amount of money spent, I should have been able to tell the difference when I rode with him, and there isnt any. As long as I have oil pressure, im cool lol

trans parts are last because there the most expensive. I "need" everything else first, plus I dont take the transmission class at school till august lol

You don't need bc coilovers. Lol why are you getting them? Lower? Cuz yours go low as **** anyway.
