Wow, those are some huge wheels, Simon. I'm very curious to see how they turn out. What rubber and size do you plan on running?

I dont think I should tell you...it'll prob make you cringe lol i was looking at 205/40's, not sure on what brand yet, have to look around. I was thinking kumhos (had like 4 sets of them on my car and never had any problems) but I dont know how well those stretch

Sillyness...but honestly I thinks the wheels are gonna look pretty sweet!

Now time to go beat the hell out my passengerside fenderwell so I can drop the last rear corner another .5"

...I have a feeling you'll be doing alot of this once you get to mounting along with alot of cussing once you think you're in the clear and jump on the freeway LOL!

yea, the car doesnt smoke anymore, its nice lol but the idle is really screwy and I have an exhaust leak in the little bit of exhaust i have lol probably that dam v band flange, if i dont get it in there just right it leaks

lol well i want to buy a fender roller so i dont have to beat on my "brand new" fenders with a hammer or jack handle. I looked at the fender lip and its already bare metal from where ive been rubbing :/ i hope they look good too, its hard to tell right now without any tires on them.

Right now ive been working on grinding the strut mount down to clear the wheel, I was using a dremel, but then remembered I had an angle grinder lol its going pretty good, ill still need to run a 5mm hubcentric spacer and hubcentric ring to get the wheel on there perfectly. I may have to splurge on some AWR camber plates too...slots arent going to work with a wheel this wide.

IT FITS!! Just finished grinding down the strut mount, the wheel bolts up perfectly and clears everything. check the pics

your right, I would be happier with that, but I dont think you understand how close these wheels are to the strut, if i ran a 225 there would be no way to drive, and a 215 would be to big for the fender. In order to run a bigger tire then 205 I would need flairs for them to look right, and Im trying to keep stock fenders

are you sure 215s wouldnt fit with a good pull? because youre making a lot of power, and i dont think youll be getting the traction you want out of 205's

i think with 5 mm spacers you should be fine with a 215 40 16. you might need a pull but i think the extra grip will make it worth it

215 wont fit for sure. he'll rub like crazy. 205 is the best thing to do to make them fit.

what brand are you going to run?

Not sure yet on brand...any brands you reccomend for stretch?
I kind of want to find some used tires first before I go out and spend the money on new ones. Just so I can get everything dialed in on the used tires, and rub the hell out of those, then throw the new ones on once i got everything figured out lol

So i started to weld up the exhaust, I cant deal with how loud my car is anymore, im just going to buy some clamps tomorrow and clamp it on there so i dont have to cut it out when I go 3".
Also "borrowed" my parents 33 gallon compressor, to paint my valve cover.... and maybe spray the fenders with some gray sealer so they dont stand out as much.
Im really starting to not enjoy working on my car, its annoying

man, im so relieved. I thought my car was ****** up, turns out my EGR cap fell off the manifold. How i have no clue but its gone. I started the car up with the exhaust (just finished videos will follow tomorrow) and the quiet exhaust note let me here a HUGE exhaust leak. No wonder my car was running like ass.
Buying one tomorrow before work if i get up early enough, then un doing what i messed with on the map, and going for a drive
