Just picked up my Metro Gray Speed3

Greetings everyone. About 6 months ago I sold my SRT-4 to buy my wife a CX-7. Had a great experience at the dealership and this past weekend picked up a new Speed3. I have always had black cars in the past, so I decided to go a little different route this time (Metro Gray) - and I really like it.

As for comparisons to the SRT, I think this car is much more refined than the SRT was. Both are super fun cars to drive, I have just fallen in love with the Speed3.

I live in Ohio, so once the weather clears up I will get some pics up of my wife's CX-7 and my Speed3.

Anyway. That's my introduction. Now to get my windows tinted...

My wife's is the Red Mica. We both love the cars. We live in Ohio, so the CX-7 works wonders with the AWD and the snow.

I will definitely be getting pics up soon, just have to wait for the weather to play nice.

I would love to see some pics of the Black CX-7 and Black speed. This is my first car in a while that wasn't black - I love the look of black.

Maybe it's just the light that the car is in but the color looks very similar to CB...I do love the new material for the seats.

I thought it looked CB too, but they don't make the 2008.5 in CB.

Yah, I noticed it with these pictures, too, that it looked more blue than gray. However, in person it definitely looks gray. I think once summer rolls around I will get some better lighted pics.

I really like the suede accents in the seats. I test drove a red one that had the other seats, both are nice - but the suede really sets it off.

I was about to come in and complain about my CB not being that shiny, but then I remembered the title of the thread. Doesn't look grey/gray at all, but looks good none the less.

I'm trying to convince the wife she needs an CX-7 to haul the dogs in. Would be nice to have two vehicles with the same general configuration.

Well I think the only similarities is that they're both Mazda's and have the same 2.3 liter DISI turbo 4. However, as you know the engines are tuned differently
