Earlier today i spoke with the owner of SU about which mods i should go with my car right now with the final goal of over 300whp. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car and very helpfull.

I ordered an ETS 3.25" polished top mount intercooler, CPE CAI, Turbo Smart BOV kit, SU CNC rear motor mount, and TWM shifter bushings. I will also order the SU catless test pipe (being released soon), and the SU CNC passenger and transmission mounts (also being released soon). I cant wait to be the first to have a full set of 62A durometer motor mounts. Bye-Bye wheel hop and clunky shifting!!! (headbang)

I was advised not to touch the exhaust (except for the test pipe) right now as the stock system is capable of handling much more power, and to avoid possibly hitting fuel cut. He advised me to wait on some sort of engine managment, which we both agree CPE is the way to go. I was told what this setup was putting to the ground in testing, but I'll keep quiet until I have mine on the dyno.(sssh)

Until the engine managment comes out, I plan to upgrade the brake pads and rotors, fully adjustable coilovers, chasis braces, and wheels. I was thinking about the OZ Ultraleggera 18" in Matt Graphite.(lick) I have been talking to several manufactures about pads and rotors and things are in the works.

I also had my stealership reflash my ECU and it seems to drive much better.(yippy)

so how much are you approx spending on the mods plus install of course?

I'm installing all the parts myself. I'm an H-60 helicopter mechanic so this thing is ganna be a piece of cake. The mods I ordered today cost about $1200.

Nice mods ya picked up (thumb) Good to see Texas MS3's getting go-fast goodies.....

Pardon my ignorance, but what shop does SU stand for and could you please post a URL if that's not too much to ask? I have yet to install my AWR 70A duro tranny mount and may be interested in those 62A duro mounts.

TIA

Hint: (first part) Its something you drive on
(2nd part) Blood is measured in this

If we post it all you'll see is *********.com

SU stands for Street Unit "street unit.com" They are not just a new bushing inside the stock stamped steel mount like from AWR ( not to say anything bad about AWR, they make great products also). They are machined from solid billet aluminum and feature a 62A durometer solid bushing. It is a tad bit softer than the AWR but should be stronger since it is solid CNC machined aluminum and should minimize vibrations. I got the inside scoop and the tranny mount and passenger side mount will be release soon in the same Billet contruction and 62A durometer bushings to match. They produce a beautiful set for the MSP. Check them out and you should get an idea of the quality to expect for the MS3 mounts. They are sending me pics of the prototype tranny and passenger mounts as I have been discussing the need for a full set of mounts for some while now.

If you decide to go with SU, the pre-order price is $89 shipped. Price will go up when released in about a week, even though web site says 4-6 weeks.

feel free to pm me for more detailed info. Don't know what all I'm allowed to say about companies and their products.
