Just installed Corpsport CBE!!!

Hey everybody. I just installed my CS CBE a couple days ago. Its bolted up to my txs stealth back. And all I can say is DAMN this car sounds amazing. I have owned and driven MANY modified performance cars in the past. And this combo on this car makes for the sweetest sounding beast I've ever heard (outside of my buddys c6 zo6 with long tubes and a cam). Its very dynamic. Sweet rumble at light throttle and idle. But once the turbo starts breathing it turns from dr jeckle to mr hyde. its puuuurfect! And just the right amount of subtle pops on lift throttle.

I've heard and driven modded Evos,STI with a 35R and a dogbox making 565 to the wheels, Modded GTO's,Lightnings, you name it. Owned a 05 wrx with cobb tbe, 06 sti with invidia catless dp and borla xr1 cbe (sweet combo by the way). A stock Prelude Type S,00 Type R, MP3, MSP, MSM, and an Rx8.

im still leaning towards the C-PE with no muffler or resonator personally, after listening to vids on youtube.

With the level of modding your car is in Matt, there really isn't any sense of warranty left because once that turbo starts smoking, they arn't going to even look at your car.

i havent done anything besides the front mount (intake and inlet) and BOV...

idk what level of modding your talking about.. haha

and im planning on getting it tuned when i put it all in,

and also looking into the 3071.

Sorry for the tease guys. Will try and get video in a couple days. it is louder. But the tone is just so sweet. Have had the windows down and the stereo off ever since it went on. Fitment was perfect. Where it mates to the txs rp was a bit tricky and needed some high temp exhaust rtv. The cs rp would make a much better fit. But i was able to get it to seal up. As for drone. That constant buzz/drone from the stocker is gone. I do get a bit of drone in 5th or 6th low in the rpm range. But nothing like say a ricer honda drone. The cool thing is you can keep it quite or loud and evil with how you treat the go pedal.

ive had a couple of different catbacks on my car, all of which with the cp-e downpipe. the corksport is definitely the loudest, you can tell by looking at it, the resonators are tiny. ive got a custom straight pipe in the making right now, hopefully ill be able to get some video clips of it.

i think for the money, this or the vibrant is the way to go in terms of result VS price. i like the MS exhaust ok, and borlas have always sounded nice on cars i've run them on.
