2008 Mazda 3 I Sport
Hello me and my buddy just put a cold air on my 2008 Mazda 3 I sport and it won't idle. Only thing I can think of is that the mass air flow sensor is moved a little bit closer to the intake. Could this be the problem?

it shouldnt do any thing try removing the neg battery term and put it back on with a disconnect of like 30 sec it should work after that. good luck

Well we moved the maf sensor farther from the throttle body and reset the ECM it's doing better now. It still a little funky. My bud said to give the ECM some time to adjust. Thanks

What brand of CAI did you install?
Are you sure the plug to the MAF is correctly installed?
Could you have damaged the MAF when removing/reinstalling it? They can be sensitive little buggers and don't take much abuse.

It was a auto zone hook up, I think im taking it back and just going to look on ebay till a good one comes up. We didn't damage the mas because it works with the stock air box and we checked to make sure it was the right way.

Thats your problem right there lol. Good idea on returning the "CAI".
Also, try looking for a injen CAI or MPS. I hear they are the "better" ones.

Yeah I ordered one off of ebay, it was a cheap brand but its full metal and not just chrome covered plastic, should be here friday!
