Just Had Reflash Done. WooHoo

jus got back from the dealer after getting the reflash done and let me tell ya, its like a whole new car. before the car would hesitate really bad goin into boost. i checked the wga and my boost gauge was a steady 6psi so i new that the reflash had to be done. now the car runs great, and pulls hard. they came out and told me that they couldnt do the reflash because of the turbo timer i installed, and im like o great, here we go. the mechanic brought me out back and all i had to do was turn off the power to the timer lol. i thought they were goin to say something about the cai or the turbo timer and void my warranty but the mechanic was really cool, and he didnt give a s***. so i recomend getting the reflash done if you have problems like mine. now i cant wait till 2morrow when im gettin upgrade smic, hard pipes, and greddy rs bov in.
 
I'm sure about this but i remember reading its not a good idea to up the boost once you have a flashed ecu .... Anyone wanna chim in on this?
 
ive read that also. but i dont plan on boostin over 10psi and i think i read that most people that had this done that are boostin 10psi is still safe. worst case, all you have to do is get a wideband a some kind of fuel management and your all set.
 
i woldnt go over 8psi untuned with the flash. Even with fuel tuning the flash has more advanced ignition so you will start to detonate around 9psi on 91 octane even with supporting mods.
 
well after about 2 weeks of havin that reflash done i installed SU upgrade Smic, Hardpipes, And Greddy Rs Bov, and after resetin the ecu, my car runs kinda slower. pretty gay, so imma have to say **** it, and sell this thing. HELLO EVO IX MR!!!
