just got msp.. need help

just got an msp today.. starting opening it up and wanted to realize why it wont let me redline (not that i do this all i day) but .. its like a fuel cut at 5500 after after third gear.. is this normal? thanks for the help
 
pretty much dunno why my rev limit is 5500 and bounces.. any ideas.. got a greddy sp2 catback.. lemme kno if you could help..
 
just a catback, boost gauge, turbo timer, and bov.... gna take a better look tomm at my friends shop. but it seems odd. the boost gauge shows it peaks at 15-17.. idles between 10 and 20 on vaccum.. still tryin to figure it out..
 
and thats wayyy too high for stock internals.. i know its supposed to be 6.5 stock.. i doubt its really peaking 15 though
 
If it's boosting that high with a stock WGA and no boost control suspect WGA failure and what ever else may have failed due to it. DO NOT EVEN TRY TO RUN IT WITH BOOST THAT HIGH!!!!!! Your ECU may be boost/fuel cutting to save your motor.

remove the vac line goign to the WGA and blow into it. If its like blowing into a straw ith your finger over the end thats good. If you can blow into it even the a little bit its bad.

Is there any chance you bought a Yellow MSP in Florida? I test drove one for salea couple weeks ago that sounds exactly like the one you bought.
