Just got back from LP concert...

Linkin Park's Meteora World tour rules!!!(rockon) It was Story of the Year, Hoobastank, P.O.D., and Linkin Park...P.O.D. sucked(not my style at all), but the other three were incredible. The crowd was loud as hell, and Linkin Park tore it up. The only bad part was they had a concession stand gated off for alcohol. You had to present ID to get in, and you couldn't leave with alcohol. We ended up skipping it because my girlfriend isn't 21 yet and we didn't want to leave her hanging. Can't wait till they make it back here for me to see them again. Anybody go to the concert yet, or going to any of the upcoming dates??(band2)

Sweet! I saw LP last year as part of the Summer Sanitarium tour and they rocked. I signed up in the LPU so I could buy tickets early for the Meteora tour...they're in ATL March 6th and I'm there! Woo-hoo!

Damn, I wish i could've gone to that show. Linkin Park looks like they give a good Live show. And Story of The Year is one of my favorite bands. When i bought SOTY CD, i watched the enhanced CD part of it, and it showed live footage of them playing at shows, and I got all amped just watching it. Sucks that I live in Hawaii, because we lack good shows. I just seen Thrice the other month here, and they were frickin awesome. I can only imagine LP and Story of the Year together. April 3rd is our next show. Blink 182, Brand New, and Motion City Soundtrack. I know it's not the greatest line-up, but it's 3 mainland bands for us.

If you like Linkin Park, I suggest buying the Live in Texas DVD. They filmed two concerts in Texas from last years tour, and made a kick ass DVD of it all. Plus you get an audio CD of it too. I haven't gotten the SOTY CD, but after seeing them in concert, I'm gonna pick it up for sure. I'm interested in that enhanced stuff you're taking about.

Yeah, it's pretty much a music video for their single, Until the Day i Die. And the whole video is just live footage from their shows on the road. It's awesome. And as for that LP DvD, i'll see if any of my friends have it. We all listen to the same genre of music.

Are you talking about Linkin Park doing an encore? At the show I was at, they played for about an hour, and then said "thank you and goodnight" and walked off stage...They were the headliners, and people really thought they were gonna be done after an hour. They hadn't even played A Place For My Head, or One Step Closer, which is definately their biggest two hits. So, people started cheering, and they eventually come back out, They did My December, Numb, A Place For My Head, and finished with One Step Closer. Damn. They definately rocked it. When they played Faint, they asked if anyone in the audience was a hardcore LP fan, and if anyone knew how to play the song. A guy raised his hand, and got to go onstage and actually play guitar while they did the song.

I saw them in DC at the Patriot Center, I think it was teh first date for the Meteora tour. We missed SOTY, but saw POD, Hoobastank, and LP. POD did suck, the crowd just wasn't into it, Hoobastank was better than I thought they would be, and of course LP ripped it up. I'd def. go see them again if they came back around my way.

Damn, a 4 song encore?!?!? That's sooo lucky. When Thrice came down here, they did about 10 songs total, and had a 1 song encore. The whole set was about an hour half. And they did stuff only from their new album, which was good. But their older stuff is what put them out there as a good band i think.

That's pretty much how we felt. SOTY was actually better than Hoobastank too...They should have put P.O.D. on first so people wouldn't have missed anything special

I'm pretty sure it was 4 songs. I'm trying to remember if they did Numb after My December, but I'm not positive. Either way, even 3 was cool. We weren't expecting to hear My December...

Son a b****!!(pissed)(bang)I really wish I had gone to the San Diego show on the 17th.Like I had my ticket and all but I had no one to go with and it was a far drive from where I lived.Linkin Park is the s***!!They are the best band out there,IMO.I'm a huge fan as you guys can tell from my title!!Oh well, there is always next tour(sad1) .

I'm sure they'll be having another one next year. This is the second year for the Meteora Tour, and I'm sure they've sold out every show. Hopefully they are getting some new songs together and will have a new tour next year.
