Just drove the RX-8.... ehhhhh

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of test driving a metallic red rx8 with hardly any options and a 6 sp. What a beautiful machine. The first thing I noticed was that I absolutely love the interior. It was cloth (with none of that red leather BS) and I sank right down into the cockpit. I felt like I was in a jet, that's how cool the interior is. I love everything about the car... except for the lack of torque down low. I had to get the car to 5K before anything fun happened. The salesman told me to push it to its limits... so I was going full throttle up to 9K. Now that put a grin on my face!!!

The engine/intake sound is AWESOME. You can't hear the exhaust at all which is fine, because listening to that sweet rotary engine between 5-9K is just amazing.

I would love to own one... it was going for $29K or something like that... I wouldn't buy one without the appearance package (ground effects) though .... but for a lil more money, I'd probably buy a G35.

Everyone at the stealership loved my lookalike MSP. Except one punk called me a poser. heh.

Yeah, I have no mazdaspeed badge. I don't think i'm a poser... I just own a nice looking mazda protege. (shrug)

I suppose I should've kicked his ass.
