Hi all.

I've been reading this forum for a while now, and this community, with the helpful information, the lack of trolls/flames among the members (compared to some of the other forums I have visited), and the other four months of research, are reasons I picked up a '08 black mica MS3. Just wanted to say thanks for all of the help!

P.S. pictures to come soon. Friend/co-worker of mine also happens to be a photographer, so I will be sure to get some nice pictures in soon.

welcome to the community and have fun with your new ride... what type of car are you comming from?

Thanks for the welcome. I have noticed some trolls, but honestly, compared to the trolls on the forum for our town (Louisville, KY) it's nothing. Nothing says fun on a forum like a 16 year old with a ricer civic calling me a (insert slander here).

And to answer you tsunami, I am coming from a 1997 Taurus. I mentioned something about it in the "previous car" thread. Bascially, I had just graduated college, and the car that I had (1989 Pulsar) was about dead. I needed something to get me to work and back and could not afford much since I had just begun a new career. I came across the Taurus, which I bought for 1/2 KBB value. It was by no means anything close to what I really wanted, but it seemed like the most responsible decision to make at the time.

I hear you @ the responsibility thing. I was driving an f150 with NO options before I got the speed. I'm talking rubber floor mats, armstrong windows... the works. I sincerely love the fact that I can roll all the windows down in my new car without having to use my go go gadget arms... not to mention the nav.

congrats again on your new car!

go go gadget arms(rlaugh)

Yeah, the extra crappy part is that when people want to talk to you, they always seem to pull up to/walk up to the PASSENGER side window. It's like they know...

the drivers side window on my truck only goes down about 5 inches and the passenger door can only be opened from the outside. Makes me REALLLLY appreciate driving my car...

I was going to have a witty comeback but I forgot what it was....oh well this will have to do(fu)

:D and btw I thought Swampass was the local blue hair or was it the local no hair? hehe

Just keep a sledgehammer or an axe inside the car in case you need to get out quickly. *^_^*
