mp3girly thank you for your reply. in regards to lowering it, that was my next plan but my girlfriend, who also drives the car, is fighting the idea because of the few extra precautions that need to be taken with a lowered car, i.e. parking, railroad tracks, pot holes, etc. also, when i do lower it i want to do the struts and springs at the same time so i have to save a few more pennies for both.

It seriously looks like your ride has been lifted. EIther that or it's on hydraulics and it's lifted up. Then again, I took shrooms about 30 minutes ago, so maybe they're starting to kick in and your car really isn't eight feet off the ground as it appears to be.

I understand the hazards of lowering. >_< It's what's keeping my mom from lowering her car, I think, and what makes me hesitant in lowering my own. What about adjustable ones.. you could do that right? Even if you did bag it, it'd be good to go.. IMO.. but bagged cars are so cool anyway.

cracks me up when people put chrome on imports. i mean what do the wheels match? you have no chrome pieces on your car. not to mention its so over done. i mean everybody has chrome, trying be original or atleast different. i have a 65 fairlane with many chrome pieces ie. bumpers, trim, molding, door handles. that is what chrome wheels were made for, not cars made in japan. and your car does look 4x4 style whats up with that?

razorp5, i would assume that someone who is willing to risk their own life for others, as shown in your picture, would at least have the decency to respect those same people and any opinions they have whether you agree with them or not. in my original post i was very careful with expressing my point of view as not to ruffle any feathers so to speak, because i know whether or not to put chrome wheels on your car is such a big issue nowadays, and showed my respect for both sides of the arguement. you on the other hand, for whatever reason felt it was more important to get a laugh by not only categorizing the people who have chrome rims on their cars but to disrespect anyone who disagreed with you. let me ask you this, how can america, the country you supposedly love and would die for better itself as a whole, when people on a car forum board can't even respect someone elses opinion on what they want to do with the car they paid for. peace bro (really), i don't want to waste my time anymore with such an unimportant topic. and it does matter whether i am white or black because i don't even use that word when talking to my own people so how do you feel you have the right to use it in such a nieve and demoralizing way, think before you speak yo,

i know that the car needs to be lowered, but you have to remember that i have 215/35 tires which add to the lifted look, the gap is "only" 3 fingers and that is pretty close to stock, i believe.
