just another no0b

#1142 right here

Had her about a month or so and Im quite impressed. Ive had a pretty good variety of cars in my few years on the road and my MSP definately has its perks compared to my previous vehicles. Ya so it might not have been as fast as the stingray, or not quite handled as well as the 2g eclipse, but side by side with all the other vehicles Ive owned, I can honestly say that it would probably be in the top spot as a whole car....looks, performance, handling, etc etc.

Anyways, a little about myself and the car:
My name is Jacob and Im currently a full time student at the Institute of Jewelry Technology in Paris. 21 years of age and learning to design/fabricate custom jewelry upon customer request as well as advanced jewelry repair. On the weekends I support my 'go fast bug' as a bartender/DJ at a club here in town.

The car is (Im assuming) one of the titanium grey metallics made in 03 ...mod list-

Engine:
iBoost FMIC, HKS BPV, Injen CAI, factory 81 honduh prelude cone air filter (dont ask, just try it), MAF Remap, Apexi 3" cat-back, and a tune @ whiplash motorsports in south Tx by Phil Collins...and yes that IS his birth name

Interior:
Full stock except for a Pioneer single disk head unit, and no factory sub.

Exterior:
VIS EvoStyle CF hood, Motegi DP12 17x8 wrapped in some crappy firehawks, and some jacked up "custom" sideskirts

Ok so the story on the skirts...the previous owner thought it would look cool if he carved (yes CARVED) mazdaspeed in the fiberglass, filled it with resin, and put lights behind the resin so it would light up w/ a switch. Good idea I guess...might look pretty cool if done right I agree...HOWEVER it looks like a blind 3yd old carved on them things. And to make it even better, the lights only light up the D, A, S and part of the P. Soooo ya they are now ruined.

Other than that, I guess thats the majority of things. If theres anything anyone would like to know, please feel free to ask
 
ahh well there you go I knew I forgot something.
I know they arent the 'forum correct' pics with my nametag and everything, but they were taken the day I bought her. when I get some better ones I will be sure to put the name tag paper thing with them

I havent tuned it myself yet. I just went along with the tune it got from the guy @ whiplash ms.

he said he used the Venom500 EMU to do what little tuning he did. I didnt notice much of a difference in anything before/after so he could just be BS'ing me but I did notice the I was spooling to almost 8psi after I got it back. I havent looked at the turbo much to see if its internal or external gated so for all I know he just adjusted the spring pressure [assuming its externally gated]...

MSP's came with the Garett T25 as the stock turbo correct??
