was driving for the past month and couldnt find what i thought was a boost leak. took apart the whole bumper and front mount and rebuilt the entire intake side of the engine. took it out for a spin....same, 16-17 lbs of boost with a quick taper. (target 19) thought the catch can was looking a little low for the miles of oil it should have caught and sure enough....there was a small crack in the catch car. no clue where it came from but the vac line to the intake mani was sucking in unmetered air. awesome. got a new catch can and fixed!

ill should my awesome new catch can at a later date but its home made. its actually a large husky compressor filter with a drain nozzle at the bottom. s*** works great and filters out to like .05 microns or something. its already catching spittle and seems to be better than my non baffled POS that was there before AND was much cheaper. thats it.

Pics of home made catch can?

i dont have it mounted yet and i work from dark till dark so its tough to get the time. i will get a picture on the weekend up here. the only thing is i thought i was buying pressure tested hosing but i bought the wrong s*** so the hose is starting to collapse a little when it heats up. other than that, which is an easy fix, its alreayd collected some nasty swill. im excited.

yea work from morning to night is the worst. im 12 hour days mon-fri. but keep us posted with this cause catch can is my next step
