Chippy, who said the quote in your sig? It's freaking hilarious.

No one said it... I think it every day... :)
LOL, although it would be awesome if someone actually did say it online...

Edit: Of course, my Mazda family is not included in that statement ;)

Gonna try our hardest to make it to MidOhio... And any other race in between and after... I've still got my vacation time slotted for LRP, though!

96,000 miles
5w-40 synth oil change
tire rotation (after 6,000 miles, still look brand new) -- one tire was down to 26psi, so I want to keep an eye on that in case of a slow leak

Tommorrow I will be repainting calipers, replacing rotors/pads, and flushing brake lines with Super Blue. I may possibly be at NORA event this Sunday, or may also come out to Superfly. Shocking, I know!
Most importantly, though, my car will be ready for my yearly road trip. Lime Rock baby!

Make sure you re-introduce yourself, Chippy. I forgot who you are. ;)

Glad she's still running well.

I was just wondering where you'd been the other day as I walked by your tap and die set for the 1000th time :D Let me know if you go to NORA this Sunday so I can bring that back to you.

Brakes were a success. Napa rotors, hawk HP+ pads, cleaned and painted the calipers (red again). Initial bite will jerk you out of your seat, even on mild braking. I love the squeal sound. During the bedding process, I turned a lot of heads just with that noise. To me, that is a sweeter sound than an exhaust, because it reminds me of a car braking into turn 4 (or 6 with the bus stop) at MidO. I bedded them going from 40 to 20 a few times, then 80-90 to 30mph a few times. Hopefully that is good enough and no rotor warping occured (or will occur).

Problem--went to lower my front BCs a little, and the driver side collar locking nut was driven halfway up the threads. the threads inside the collar must now be twisted and jammed up from hitting bumps and holding the weight of the car (unsupported due to the locking collar being so far up). I couldn't get it to budge. The passenger side is fine. BC wants just under $300 for one corner of the suspension. I will have to go that route if I can't get this figured out.

Next up: order a replacement OZ wheel center cap and figure out why my prosport boost gauge doesn't light up anymore. Oh and fix that damn suspension. $300 down the drain.

Next purchases: rear adjustable camber arms, then engine mounts. then back to power adders. I also want an exhaust just for the tone. Might still just cut out the resonators if I can get someone to do it for me for cheap or free-ninetynine :)

You going to make it out to Geauga Lake this Sunday?

Glad you like the brakes!

Nope. Someone decided to take a BB gun to my car while I was at work. Back window is shattered, one tail light busted, and multiple dents and dings along the hatch and passenger rear quarter. One more thing to take care of...

People are asssholes., can't stand people like that. Work hard and some idiot does something stupid. Does you lot have cameras?

What the hell? Was it just your car or did they do it to the whole parking lot? I can't understand people doing that. I agree with: (gah)

The noise gets old fast. Trust me.

True, I haven't had the chance to drive it much, but I rolled the window down and realized exactly how loud it sounded to other cars. People probably think my brakes are crap. It stops soooooooo quick though!

No cameras in the parking lot. Car was dropped off at a body shop called South of the Square here in Medina. Probably done in about 10 days. Gotta get new glass, taillight, and repaint roof, bumper, hatch, and right rear quarter.

I'm ordering one corner of my BC suspension today to get that fixed, and hopefully going to snag an OZ center cap from somewhere. One of mine popped off. Then I'm on the lookout for a used TRZ transmission mount, and a good deal on some adjustable camber arms.
