^This!

It actually blends in really well, and will look good against the black part of my bumper, and once I paint my spoiler!

Just ordered 2...:)

Figured at that price, it'd be nice to have a spare in case they don't hold up too well and it starts looking like too much ass. lol

Mother b****...they sent me an email a few hours later saying the part is discontinued. :( 3M it is....

On a good note though, fixed my exhaust rattle, installed my passanger side wheel liner, and also may have found this clunk in the front left I was concerned about. My strut bar wasn't fully tight on that side. Tried to make the clunk on the way home (I can create it at will) and I don't think I heard it. You know how paranoid you are after you think you've solved a problem....you're always on guard, so any little noise you're like..."What was that!? Was that it again!?" hahaha If I did hear it, it was no where near as bad as it was.

You can see the broken hanger and how the exhaust is ON the crossmember.

All better. :)

I heated up the hanger a bit and angled it down so it would pull the exhaust up. Then installed 2 new rubber hangers.

LOVE having a lift in my stall at work!!! Even if they're 40 years old. lol

Also, installed the OEM front motor mount....couldn't believe how much of a difference it made! You guys made a believer out of me...LOL

That, and the exhaust not being on the crossmember, the vibrations/rattles have gone down significantly. Still kind of there, but NOW it may just be the nature of the beast. haha

Looking good, Josh. And it sounded good last night too! I know you think it's "ricey" but it actually sounds really good in my book. I'm surprised it's not as loud as it should be. I'd say keep the exhaust set up you have currently.

And glad that front mount and exhaust hanger helped. (told ya so, nah-nah)

I'd guess most of the noise is probably from the suspension being stiffer than stock and the low/lower profile tires.

I will for now, and like I said, just keep my eyes peeled for a stock setup should one come up.

I'm referring to the vibrations at idle, not driving. It's actually not bad going down the road, definitely nowhere near as bad as some of the lowered cars I've been in. Just sitting there at idle, it was very very rough. It's still not completely "smooth", but much much MUCH better!

I'd likely keep at least the axle back should it get too annoying. I'd just go stock with the manifold/cat assembly, and even take out the Magnaflow resonator if it was still too loud. I like to have a little tone to my rides, but when you start getting headaches from it, it's time to change it up...lol

My car has the stock manifold, stock midpipe. The only thing that's different is the Corksport axle back that I have on it. Sounds much different than Evan's did. I enjoy that exhaust setup.

Check engine light came on yesterday while in the McD's drivethru. Car seemed fine though, I didn't notice anything unusual...

I was planning on checking it at work today, but it went out on the way back from lunch. I checked it after work though, and it had 2 codes stored...

P0171 - Said system too lean in bank 1.
P0401 - Forums say EGR clogged

I'll have to clean the EGR out for sure, but what about the lean condition? I've read about a half dozen causes...clogged injector, MAF sensor, fuel filter, vacuum leak, o2 sensor, and something else, plus I'm sure there's more. lol

I was going to just write it off, since the light went out on it's own, but I don't want it to come back on. I added a bottle of injector/fuel system cleaner last fill up (only fill up as of now haha), and I thought maybe it had broken some crap loose, and it's just working it's way through the system or something.

I've got that light a couple of times and then it would just go away. I figured it was bad gas cause it was always when I went to bp

I thought maybe my idle issue was bad/old gas as well, since the car had been sitting for 3 months or so...

Hmm, I think I had the first code when my intake mani wasn't bolted down hard enough after I did my VTCS removal. Try tightening the bolts down a bit more. But obviously not as much as I did... And check all your vacuum lines.

I'm not sure about the EGR code. I never had that one but cleaned my EGR every year. As you know, it's pretty basic to get to and I just use some Seafoam on a toothbrush and go to town, then dab some engine oil on the shaft to keep it lubed. Bring it over and we can clean it sometime after work, shouldn't take more than an hour.

Different code than I had, but after the non-fowler trick my light hasn't come back on. I think you have a totally different issue, but its an easy trick that only costs about $6. Who knows...maybe it'll work!

He's got my old header with a non-fouler installed and ran fine for 1-2 years.

Could simply be a bad o2 sensor, after all the "excess flow" over this time, but I would think the scanner would simply read that it needs an o2 sensor, and tell me which one too? Happened like that with the Crapalier when the rear one went out.

Well if it's the front, you'd be getting about 12 mpg, and crappy running all the time.
