Job if money wasn't an issue?

:
GLA45
Let's say you had to work but your salary wasn't an issue. What would you do?

Also it has to be a real and practial job that you are actual capable of doing. Professional TV watcher, sleeper, video game player, athlete, etc..., aren't really options.

I work from home, so that's easy enough. But I would probably go back to working at a retail Hobbystore. Money not an issue + discount on RC stuff = win.

I think I would go with scuba instructor somewhere tropical. Then when I got sick of that switch to ski instructor in Colorado somewhere

Either acupuncturist/TCM/holistic doc (taking into account that I'd have that degree) or puppy-friendly B&B owner (I'd get to cook/take care of folks AND have my pups and other pups around)....

....or philanthropist. I'd be good at that if I had the moolah! :)

beer taster. and yes that is a real job.

haha and i was going to say work at Sam Adams, they teach EVERY single employee how to brew beer, might it be a micro brew, and they have free samples daily for the employees to keep the moral up. i'd totally be a janitor there if it meant i worked there

I would do what I went to school for and be a chef. eventually to own my own place.

I cant afford to make the jump from a decent paying IT job to a $10 an hour no benefits ass busting career

I've never been able to answer this question. But what I love is being in the military, I would go back to active duty in a heart beat, But they won't take me so I am stuck with the reserves.

I hear ya.

I cant cook but I can bake.. Wish I could go to culinary school, perfect my baking skills and open my own little place.. it would be dog friendly as well.. cafe/pastry shop/doggie cookies..

*sigh*

They do have classes where you can learn the basics of baking and pastries. I really found alot of school to be a waste. its actually better to just learn the basics and then go into the feild. It was a blast though. i hate the $25K student load i had to take out.

better then nothing.

Swim instructor or soccer coach for the YMCA. Neither pay anything but I would enjoy it.

Rather than doing that I am in Training and Development for my monies and a soccer coach so I can still get the satisfaction out of helping children.

If money wasn't an issue, I'd keep doing what I'm doing now.

I enjoy my job. I haven't had a raise in 2 years and I work with a bunch of incompetent assholes, but the actual job I really enjoy. If I could do it and not have to interact with people, I'd be golden. :D

probably a barber and also DJ in my spare time. or since I love driving, especially these big trucks in the Army, maybe a truck driver.

Is lifelong exchange student an option??

If not I'd probably go for event planner or go back to driving tourist buses around in Europe.

Currently, Im a technician at a Mazda dealership, its fun, but it doesn't pay anything.
My all time dream job has always been working for the RailRoad. Not only is it fun, I actually have proper training, (Not that it matters in this thread, but the Pay is incredible) and you get paid to play with heavey equipment. Ive always had a passion for industrial technology, and this has always been perfect. Hopefully once they call back all the fer-lowed employees, I will make the switch then. :)
