JIC-Magic 505 SuS is here!

Well, I purchased the JIC-Magic 505 SuS from Reshie (ARD MP5) at Automotive R&D, and it has arrived in the metroplex! I will have it delivered on Sunday. The bottome pictue on the following link will give you an idea what it looks like:

If you really want to get ahold of him, you should call the shop if you already haven't. 408-947-0505, I'm there every now and then so if you'd like me to and if you 100% interested in buying something, I can talk to him for you. They are very busy in there it is only 2 of them for the most part.

This exhaust is so light, that I can pick it up with each arm, and walk around casually. It must be about 15-20 lbs! Compared to the stock exhaust's wieght of around 50 lbs, what a reduction!(wow)

that is a nice system..does it bolt right to ur begi off road pipe...and if u were goin to get the off road pipe...why didn't u jst get the spool kit...? larger intercooler...better manifold..obviously emissions not a worry...jst why why wHy??

Ease of installation. I had to do it all myself on my off days before I had to go back to work. Yes it will bolt right up.

Yep, the 60mm. By the way, I installed it this afternoon. It sounds deep, and not too loud...even with the silencer off! This system kicks ass! My turbo seemed to want to spool up quicker too. I can't wait for the downpipe to be finished getting coated. It goes on right away.

A more open exhaust will certainly improve the spoolup of your turbo. The off-road pipe should help even more.

Yeah looks damn sweet Linux. Bet it sounds awesome too. I have really been thinking about this exhaust for my P5 but would really like the Ti with the torch burnt tip. How much did yours set you back and do you know if they make the Ti for our cars. Oh yeah also the website said it had an angled exit. Does yours? or does it come straight out the back? Can't wait to see pics.

GOOD LORD! I came into work (in the daytime for once) for some overtime, and I got to see what a difference the exhaust made on the highway. All I can tell you is that in 5th gear I would punch it, and it would spool right up, and take off! I think I saw it go from 80-100 in about 5 seconds! Even when I would gently depress the pedal, I was in boost, and didn't even know it! I can't wait to get the downpipe installed! (laugh)
It accually comes out straight. The exhaust retails for $698 on the JIC-Magic site (yeah, the price went up $18 in the last month). Shipping for me was $80. You can get general Idea of how much it will cost. Talk to Reshie (ARD MP5) at Automotive R&D, he may be able to get you a better deal than that, but I am not certain. That TI with the burnt tip looks tight! I bet it's light as hell too. Pictures to follow.
