Trailblazer SS AWD ....Still a Mazda Junkie Though.
I tried to figure this out on my own but it wasn't happening!
I would like to know how large the JIC exhaust is and if anyone has any pics of it?I see that it "supposedly" fits an MSP with the exception of needing the hangers lowered.
Who here has this exhaust on an MSP?How does it sound?I want an exhaust thats a lot louder than the stock exhaust but not "ricey" at all.I just want it deep and mellow but definately louder than stock!
Any help on this exhaust info and maybe pricing and where to get it at would be greatly appreciated!:D
Thanks,Matt

I had one, it was great I had the JIC sus505 muffler with custom made pipes from the cat back. I am not sure if it was the muffler or the pipes, but it sounded mean as hell. On occasion you will get some backfiring/poping (after hard accel). But it deepend the sound and sometimes had a nice rasp to it. if that makes sence. I plan on getting a complete JIC Ti exhaust will post pics when I get my new MSP (2003.5 Titanium)

If you're looking for that type of sound you described, the JIC is exactly what you want. I've had it on my MSP for about two weeks now. The sound is very mellow, not raspy. It comes with a silencer, but it makes the car too quiet. I have some pics, but I don't know how to post them. If you want I can email them to you.
I got mine from Rishie, at Auto R&D.
The fit is great except it hangs a little close the the lip on the bumper. I just bought a little longer hanger and it fixed the problem. The quality is exceptional!! It's also very light weight. Hope this helps.

did you notice any power difference or gain?
do you know what the piping size is?

Rishie says that there is a power gain. but you get the most out of ANY exhaust on the msp with a new, less restrictive, downpipe.
