JDM_Pro5's Build Thread

I was doing this at night under the very crappy light of my front porch wearing shorts and a T-shirt in the dead of winter. It was on my legs, my arm, all over my clothes.

I just feel That I'm not doing anything special. Making the outside look good, not too much internal/mechanical work. Going for a flush/clean looking P5.
I know for a fact the hood will fit in the p5 angled diagonally with the seats down

Got to take a company vehicle to deliver alot of crap to our mail center

I did make it work and I later saw another member do it too but alot better than I did

That would be me, but I didn't do it better, just differently. I mounted my horns closer to the center so the brackets hung straight down, which in turn seats the horns lower, which makes it so less plastic from the grill needs to be removed. I didn't realize any of that at the time, but it worked out in the end.

Best pictures I have, I never really took pics of it

I wanted to the horns to be vertically centered with the grill height so when I get the dg grill, they are visible through. I mounted on the outside holes and angled the bar. I used some holes in the crash bar to feed the wire. I'll snap a pic

Yeah I never have any intention of getting an aftermarket grill so that wasn't a concern for me. Mine are still visible through the grill, but only if you look straight on at it due to the depth of the mesh. My garage points towards the sunset, which is why you can see the horns so clearly in that pic. I was just too lazy to grab my nice camera so hooray for bad cell pics!

i have 5 on the sides and 15 on the rear window so you can see out of it and night and it works great. nothing forward of the "B" pillars since legally i cannot have any..
