this is just my opinion but i dont understand why everyone likes those jdm p5 tail lamps. i think they are fugly. if i wanted those tails i would have bought a regular protege. i think the p5 tails are way better and look nice on the car. also, the autoexe car is disgusting. it doesnt look as clean as a stock p5. i would much rather keep my cars exterior stock than to spend thousands to make it look like sh*t. just my opinion, oh well.

everybody has their own opinion...but i actually really like the autoexe p5...it's nothing too gawdy just subtle and a little more aggressive

autoexe doesn't make a hood spoiler. and the rear spoiler is basicly stock demensions, only a little more aggressive looking.

There's no doubt they're cool tailights but for some reason I still seem to favor the stock ones. Maybe someone can fill me in on the attraction to these. (hmm) (scratch)

FYI: JDM ones has 4 lights.....The stock ones have 3.
i love the stock tails to be honest, but i want the jdm ones because they still look nice, but they are different... i guess everyone "soups" up their car for their own identity? so i wouldnt mind having the jdm tails so i can stand out from the rest while still looking nice. - chrisI think the major difference in the two is contrast. The US market one has stronger contrasts, with irregular shapes and a couple circles complimenting with each other, while the JDM is plain and simple.
IMHO, I like the US ones because its graphically more interesting as more things going on, yet it is nicely designed unlike most aftermarket altezza lights that basically slap a whole bunch of red circles on chrome regardless how ugly the layout looks. But the JDM may appeal to people who prefer a clean simple look. The fact that its different from the rest of US P5 may also play a factor of interest.
I drive an MP3, and the only grip against its look is its tail lights. I wish they are more unique & sporty, but they end up looking like certain years of Accords, Camrys, Kias, Passats...etc.
A solid red light with a white ban across. Nothing else.

If someone has a pic of a silver MP5 with JDM I would really like to see it. The 4 lights may sway my opinion in the end but I have to see it to believe (in) it.
