Yeah, I plan on having everything updated and logged. The biggest thing was getting the time to do things, but I want to be driving this summer so I'm trying to buckle down.

And I finally decided to install my short shifter and while I was at it i painted my cupholder/center console....and I guess it's worth mentioning I picked up PAR transmission with a Quaife differential. Can't wait to get that in my hands.

How did you get the cupholder part and part around the shortshifter up? i want to install a shortshifter in mine and paint mine aswell!

Here's a good write-up on how to do all the interior pieces. It's very easy, just take your time and it'll be fine.

Quick update, got more parts today from CR3. My wife and I have been working opposite shifts so anytime I'm off of work i have to take care of the kids. Once I get a little time I'm going to get in the garage and disassemble the engine, catergorize and organize the parts and take the stuff that needs it to the machine shop. I can't wait to get this machine work started!!!

So I'm thinking of making my primary color white instead of gold for the fact that I can't find nice gold wheels that aren't 3-4 grand and are also not cheap knock offs. So I was looking at these from RPMGarage but have never heard of these guys.

What do you guys think?

never heard of SSR or rpmgarage? white's the new black mine are the same style, but not SSR. check them out if you want an idea of what they'll look like

SSR is a well known company that produces high end wheels. Same level as buying BBS or Volks, just these are an older model. The problem is the company, I've never heard of RPM Garage.

you can always hit up NEXTMOD theyre an authorized dealer for SSR wheels also i think. or just go to SSR's website directly. BTW im jelly of you getting that tranny lol. hope u got it at a good price. cant beat getting a fully built tranny which is probably the most expensive thing anyone can buy to have done to all proteges

Trust me, I'm more than happy I got that trans. I'll be heading up to Jersey in the near future to pick it up. I just broke down the engine, I'll need to get pictures of it put up. But that will hopefully get sent over to the machine shop shortly.

The model that I'm looking at has been discontiuned for sometime now, so I highly doubt that they would be available from Nextmod and I know I can't get them from SSR directly.

So after 4 long months of having the engine sitting in my garage, I FINALLY got it over to the machine shop. So in 3-4 weeks I should have it back and I can start the engine build. I'm shooting for mid-august start-up time. Wish me luck, need to finish my wiring before then and pick up my PAR gearset from Speedcircuit.

A picture of what??? The engines at the shop and the rest of the car hasn't changed. HOLD ON!!! I just got a new Mishimoto OCC and coolant reservoir thanks to Alex(ScratchNSniff)

ah, well i guess I'll wait for pictures. Mishi stuff looks good their PS reservoir is a b**** to make work with our OE hoses.

Yeah, I'm waiting for you to finish being the guinea pig and then I'll order it and fit it. I'll definitely be getting more pictures here shortly, once I get time that is. But I have excess vacation time so I'll be taking some to work on the car then.
