J-Spec rear wiper

Has anyone else noticed that Mazda didn't reverse the axis on the rear wiper for the NA version of the 2? On my M2 Sport, when I look in the rear-view-mirror, most of the wiped area on the rear window is on the passenger side. It's winter here in MD (which means plenty of salt on the roads) so my rear window stays pretty dirty... just thought it was kinda funny.

Wow, I didnt think about that!

I did notice this morning that the wiper was slightly "in the way" of my rear vision, so much so that I was thinking it didnt settle back to its normal location. I just shrugged it off (as I am still getting used to the car), but now this makes sense! Thanks!

My peeve is with the passenger side front wiper...sort of an after thought IMO. The top 3" of my drivers side windshield isn't cleaned and since I'm tall, the "dirt" line is right in my field of view.

Hey, no problem.

I've got at least the top 5 inches tinted, and the wiper cleans above that line, so i guess you're pretty tall with really good posture?

It bothers me as well (I'm 6'2" and like to sit upright in the car). If this !@#$ snow ever stops I'm going to take some measurements and see if there are some longer wipers that will fit in place of the OE stuff. It *looks* like there is at least two inches of room overall on the left side (driver's side for our UK, Australian and JDM friends), but the right side looks a little on the tight side.

At least the rear wiper appears to be a standard replacement item, unlike our '07 Speed 3 that this replaced, which had some sort of uber-special wiper that was a dealer only item. The Mazda Comp discount won't cover that stuff, so the car had to go...

I replaced the short one with a 14" to address that very issue, and i'm short, I slump, And I have the seat lowered to the max!

I tried replacing the rear one, but it appear to be a dealer only model? I can't figure out how to take it out.
