I can get it setup to work... it's just be a custom unit from John... you may even be lucky enough to run the newer Vampire units as well with that setup. But it's definitely doable... it'll tap the lines going to the X4 unit basically.
No the J&S is what would need the modification. It'd need to be a 4 channel unit instead of a 2 channel unit potentially... (depending on how your X4 is setup) and it may need to look for a high voltage signal instead of a low one. I'd have to dig into it more but my point in my post was that you can make a J&S work with the x4 coil system as well.
