I've seen it all!!

On my way home from the sandy Rhode Island Beaches yesterday, I was back near my hometown, and kind of weary from my battle with traffic. However, something out of the corner of my eye made me perk up.

A late model (99-01) Saturn 4 door sedan (not the L series, the small one) was on Rt.34 going on the opposite direction, at a light. While the was red, and I was facing him, i got to check out his nasty ride.

Picture this~~ Teal Blue 4 door saturn, HUGE aluminum wing on the back that extended above the roofline(aren't the FWD I wondered??) the body panels were laden with stickers, and I think i can remember a Japanese character or two (aren't they a GM, hmm, last time I checked??)

Then the ultimate ... Staring me right in the face was a black "Le Bra" on his hood with the words "SATURN TYPE R" painted, and yes I mean took a paintbrush and painted, on the bra.

I then pondered, when he "launches" from this light, will I hear the ever so distinct sound of the 1. whatever liter motor with its coffee can muffler?? Alas, my brothers, the hard tuned Saturn punched his automatic, and the swarm of bees ::BBBBBZZZZZZ,BBZZZZZZ, BZZZZZZZ:: came.

As he floored it, and sprinted at such a high rate of speed, probably around 25mph (the POS ford pickup passed him out next to him, BTW, with no problem) I wondered, is this kid really ******* serious?? He must have thrown out all the medication his doctor gave him.

I hope and pray that I am blessed with seeing this car again, in a parking lot, so I can take a few pictures of this immaculate work of art. I need to share my amazement, disbelief, and utter nauseousness with all of you.

i saw a toyota echo that had been tuned yesterday.

It had the huge aluminum spoiler that was even with the roof line, some very nice rims accually, and the bomb muffler.

the only thing that made me not totally hate it was the fact that a very hot young lady was driving it, but oooohhh how could she modify that car.

what you need to do is go to riceboys.com and print out some of their "ricer tickets" and keep them handy in the glovebox so when you see one of these things....you can issue them a citation!!

Along the same line...

I saw a VW Jetta the other day when i came out of the grocery. It wasn't to bad, until I saw the big "APC" sticker on one side. Then came the kicker, or mutiple kicks I suppose as I saw numerous Japanese characters on the hood and windows, and on the right side on the hood was a small rearview mirror. I was like WTF?!?

It looked like total crap, as if someone had just thrown it together. I almost waited around for the owner to come and so I could smack some sense into him, but figured I would only waste my time, and I didn't want my milk to spoil in the trunk.

Its a sad, sad world. This town is full of savages!
