I've Had it With This Car. . .

At least you didn't sink too much into it. But as soon as I put up $4k for the turbo setup it was no turning back. If I was close to stock and breaking things I'd be frustrated too.

As I was going over a speedbump this morning, I shifted from 2nd to 1st and suddenly the shifter broke loose. Lost every gear but 1st. Had to drive all the way home at 40KM/H revving at 5000RPM lol

I'm guessing the shift linkage bolt fell off or came loose. Better not be anything more serious...

I'm done with this piece of s*** of a car. Too many damn problems.

I love my problem free 156,XXX mile P5. I really don't understand all of the fuss over this car. The only problems I have had were caused by either me or crappy aftermarket parts. I drive it "like I stole it". Which I did, considering I only paid $6500 for it over 2 years ago! I have been lowered on stock struts for 50,000+ miles..... plus 100,000 on stock springs, changed 1 timing belt, and did regular oil changes, tranny fluid, coolant, brake work etc. I daily drive her on the highway, in traffic, at excessive speeds, you name it. It still averages 31 MPG, is the best looking wagon you will ever own, and can out handle pretty much* anything you throw at it. *pretty much. I just got back from a trip from Phoenix to Florida. Took 32.5 hours in my friends 200SX SE-R. It really made me appreciate how nice my car is.

To sum it up..... sucks to hear about the "problems" you guys are having. I want to say that a lot of it is poor maintenance, driving ability, or thinking you car is a hummer that can take similar abuse. I honestly doubt you will be much happier with a higher car/repair payment. Look at the bright side..... you could be driving a domestic!
