I'm not in the car that long to really listen to music that much. The only thing
I was thinking of getting was the 6 cd changer option.

So why would you need like 5 hours of music if your not going to be in the car that long? :D Just burn your favorite songs onto one cd and roll!

the ride height of the MP3 is lower because of the suspension setup of stiffer springs, better struts and lower profile tires.

a member in our club has RB springs and it honestly looks stock to me. i've gone for a ride in it and you can tell it is stiffer, but the ride height barely changed 1". For about the same price, the Eibachs provide a lower stance and even better stiffness without leaning to the uncomfortable factor.

Reconsider and install the Eibachs or H&R

well ride height confirmed for the Racing Beat springs, Cruzer stopped by my work today, both cars same height

Well here is pictures of the completed MP3 look I wanted.
Now for the performance parts that sorta match the MP3.

mp3 bumper

hey man i just wanna say nice job on your conversion. but may i ask if you had a hard time fitting the mp3 bumper into you ES? im thinkin of gettin and mp3 bumper myself but worried that it may not fit. also, how much did it run you to get it?

silverprotege,

if you can wait abit, when work sorta calms down, I will be
posting the conversion on the HOWTO: section with pix. I might
just do the instruction part w/out pictures this weekend since
there are a lot of people asking. But I know people would like
to see how things are done. So I'm still thinking about that.
So just bare with me while I try to finish up all my projects
at work.

Thanks.

It seems kinda funny to me that your car is brought into MP3 specs prior to applying mods. It's almost like getting your hair trimmed prior to shaving it all off.

I'm just kidding, of course, but I wonder what the importance is of building up an ES to MP3 spec and then pushing mods to, effectively, change the result.

Just an observation.

Well I wanted to buy a MP3 new, and when I had the funds to
do so, none where available. So the only option is get an ES and
hope it can be converted to *LOOK* like an mp3. If I got an MP3 I
prolly would have done the other mods as well. All I was after was
the look. Which I got and very happy with. so I hope that explains things.
If no let me know. I'll be happy to chit chat more.

have a good one.

How much did it cost you to do that?

MP5s.. which mod are you talking about. If your asking about
the bumper conversion.. it was about 900 bucks.. but if your
talking about the pipe about 10 bucks.

I have the same problems with the drone. Where did you get that pipe insert from?

P5blk_stal

P5blk... I had a local muffler shop make it for me. I havn't had
a second opinion yet. So I haven't asked the guy if he can
make more and sell them to the community..

cruzer, so you're sayin it was about 900 bucks just for the conversion of the bumper?? not including side skirts and rear? was 900 price including installation and PIAAs? more info would be helpful, thanks.

yes 900 bucks only for the bumper conversion and the price
is including paint and PIAA Lights. I only piad 99 bucks online
at www.offroadwarehouse.com All the labor was done by me except for the painting.

Lookin' good!
Although, it would look slicker w/o the door molding.
Wow, $900 for the MP3 bumper! SHEEESH!

Also, a set of 17's would look REALLY good on there...
