well even if I did trade it in on a MSP I would not be in a "ton" of debt. How long do you think that it woudl take to get the value of my ride up above trade-in value?

I dont know what your payoff is.....hypothetically let say trade in on the mp3 is 10k...... then ideally you would owe 7500. Then private sell it and take the cash and put it down on what you want. Right now if your upside down and you trade it in they will just pack the amount you are upside down ontop of your new payment.
