It's Here and ready: Microtech EMS

I just parted with my old school Microtech unit to have some upgrades done on it. Partially because I want them, and also to check turnaround time and difficulty for anyone that may want upgrades on their Microtech's in the future. It shipped out yesterday via EMS service... so we'll see! :)

All 3 Microtech cars (mine, Keola's, and Pro 5's) are getting new motors dropped in. So we haven't done anything in that department. The units are ready to go whenever. They have to be ordered in from Australia so the lead time is still less than desireable but we are good to go for selling units. The base maps aren't finished all the way yet, but are rough enough to get the car to run half decent so they can be tuned.

So that's about it! I will also be developing and rolling out special add on modules for the Microtech that will allow even more features for very little cost!

Thanks,

Steve

Yeah it's kinda funny how that happened. But what a way to throw some numbers out there with the microtech! 3 built engines running a good amount of boost!!! I'm pretty excited!!! I guess we will see how far the microtech will be thrown into the mix...... ;)

We should easily be able to claim "highest average horsepower of any EMS" :) LOL. 3 cars all well over 300 horse.. .easy :)

Thanks! You will see some exciting things in the next 8 weeks with the system. As we get these cars prepped back up we will show off some neat features, provide videos, dynos, maps, and screenshots. It'll be ALL out in the open and you guys will see what can and can't be done! :D

Yeah, it's funny all 3 of us will be back up and running within weeks of one another... I saw my head with my ferrea valves and the like today :). Teh Sexy :)

So anyway.. updates...

My car is up and running and beautiful... have 700 trouble free miles on it so far...

Dave (Pro 5) got his car to start and run for a bit last night, but a few more adjustments are being made (wiring and hardware.. not a direct EMS issue)...

And Keola ran for a while before his motor went in for the buildup...

So the point is... the numbers of Microtech cars are growing! :) So keep an eye out...

And the selling price is 1200+ shipping with all software, hardware, and wiring harnesses and instructions etc...

i guess they will wait for us to drop the big numbers first... then you will get a s*** load of units sold... hopefully my car will be done by the end of the month... HOPEFULLY!

It will be fun to see where the cars stackup against other EMS's... tuning is a big factor though as well... but it will be nice to see some big numbers and the more units out there proving the daily driveability and so forth the more interest and people will take notice I'm sure...

Problem with the numbers is I could go for much larger ones right off the bat, but the transmission is going to be too much of an issue at that point I think!

Later.

and I'm sure people will enjoy my pictures in a few months of the individual Bosch coil pack system ;).

Mid 20's... I think the first tank I got 21 mpg and that was even with all the up and down accelerating and crap... and then the last tank I have to fill up again... but is on track for about 25 mpg... if I tune a couple things a little different and really did a highway cruise I'd expect to see about 26 or 28.
