italian job..

ok when this movie came out in the theater i swore i would never see it.. i hate the ****** mini cooper so much it made me not want to see the movie.
anyhow.. my gerl came home last night with a copy of the movie for me because i have liked most of the other movies with mark wahlberg (corrupter, boogie nights, big hit) so she figured i would want this..
we decided to watch it last night and i must say its actually a pretty good movie.. seth green is hilarious as always, mos def is actually a pretty good actor, it was nice to see edward norton get busted in the face.. and.. yes.. the mini cooper scenes were actually very good. i actually want to go test drive one of those puppies and see if the ebrake can really do what they had it doing..
all and all i give it 4 out of 5 stars.. granted the only movie i ever gave 5 starts was scarface and meet the feebles.
anyone got an oppinion on this movie?

Nice timing....i just rented it last night with my g/f.
I liked the movie a lot. The car scenes and the boat scenes were really cool IMO.
I liked the extras they had about the driving school the actors went to before filming.....send me!
I got to drive the Cooper and Cooper S this summer at a Mini driving event, basically a little Auto X course they set up at a small local airport, they are pretty cool.
The size was great, you could see exactly where you were because there are no overhangs. The brakes are really good. I didn't like the shifter (huge ball) or the throws, the tires.
The Cooper was lame compared to the S.
Just my opinion.

p.s. oh yeah, i didn't get a chance to try the e-brake!

yeah man, I can't wait to see this movie. I personally love the Mini......the only thing that kept me from buying a Mini Cooper S over the SRT-4 was that the nearest dealer was almost 2 hours away so service would be a b****. Those are bad ass little cars and they handle awesome.

remember.. new matrix comes out next tues.. did anyone get hollywood homicide? is it worth buying? i picked up lion king for my girl.. and this movie called beef.. pretty interesintg about all the beef in hip hop.. lots of ja rule getting clowned.. i loved it -=)

i think i'm gonna buy the second matrix and the italian job. 2fast wasn't worth it. definitely better than the first, but still... not worth it. oh, i'm in for a treat, too. loran hasn't seen scarface. we saw a preview about it being digitally remastered, so she wants to get it. and charlize theron is the hottest woman ever!
