Issues with 2 year old Mazda 3

Hello all,

Been looking for answers all day and cant seem to find any.


Here is my issue I have a 2013 Mazda 3 I-touring Hatchback Skyactiv 2.0L, tried starting my car today, car turns on and starts for about 2-3 seconds then dies. after the engine complete stops and loud buzzing from the front end of the car sounds off for about 15 second. Dash indicator shows a lighted up battery. I go and buy and new battery to see if it solves the problem. unfortunately it does not. it does the same thing. turns on for a few seconds then shuts off. If i turn the car on and put foot on accelerator the car will stay on but as soon as i take my foot off the gas the car shuts off.

Any idea on what the issue may be and what the buzzing sound is after the car turns off.

Shot in the dark here, but I'll say a bad throttle body.

If you do not know how to diagnose the issue, take it to a qualified shop. You can spend a lot of money trying to fix it yourself but if you don't know what the problem is, you're just guessing.

If it is two years old what about your bumper to bumper warranty? If more than 36,000 miles, less than 60,000 miles what about powertrain warranty?
