2003 P5 - midnight blue
My wife and I saw a P5 wreck in the snow in front of us. It was hit from behind and pushed over an embankment and down into some trees. My first comment on pulling over to look was "I wonder if they will sell me some parts for my P5?"

Now I am in trouble with the wife. Was I wrong to say such a thing? Should I care more about the welfare of the car's occupants, or the possibility that i could snag some choice parts?

Yea see, the P5 is such a safe car that you knew the occupants were okay, thus explaining your lack of concern for their safety and infatuation of the possibility of new parts.... right?

Yea Its just that you knew they were sfe and were just worried about all the good parts left on it to go to a good home lol. naw i probly would have said the same thing but like it was already mentioned the P5 is a very safe car!!

I am obsessed with my P5 to the point that i will throw myself over the hood if it starts raining. Recently, my front signal bulbs did not match exactly (one was yellowish and one was whiteish) and the wife says i was pouting and cranky for a week until i found good bulbs. The wife thinks it is a sickness I have. I say that the P5 is a dam good car. THe only changes I would want are a 6th gear for highways and some more sound deadening.

+1 thats the best time to buy parts! You know that they still work becaus you saw them in action.

LMAO (hahaspit) And nah, it's not a sickness, you just love your car and take pride in it :D

The only thing you did wrong was not stopping to take the parts you wanted right then, while they were still fresh...

Talk about vultures! lol

Nah, as long as noone was in the car, it's not wrong to think that! lol
