Enough with the SUV's already! I love our CX-9, but i want a car not another truck. The Wagon has beautiful lines. Probably will drive quite nice as well. How can we start a wagon reveloution? We have to get this car!
I have money in hand ready for a deposit ....but I think we are few and far between that Mazda would listen........ They sell both MPV/Mazda5 and CX5/6 Wagon in Japan where Honda dominates.......why not here
I've been a wagon lover since my early years, and chose the hatchback when I got my 3. I would be highly interested, and my wife may be due for a new car about the time they hit the dealers. Show me as thumbs up on the idea, and thanks for the photo.
I loved the original Mazda6, still do. Not many V6 wagons you could buy with a manual, and it looked better than the sedan IMO. I was very disappointed the 2nd Gen didn't come as a wagon. In Canada, wagons are very popular (there are/were numerous 6 wagons around), so considering they've gone back to a global model, I would think the odds are good that we'll get one. Here's hoping.
Well I just left them an email. I don't like SUVs or tall vehicles, and as nice as the CX5 is its just too ungainly for me. I would still prefer more power than the 2.5L but the rest of the new 6 makes up for it.
The likelihood of this happening in the US is slim to none. Mazda has a 2% share of auto sales in this country and most people here are into SUV's and the demand is higher SUV's as opposed to the traditional wagon. I have a Mazda 6 wagon and loved it and when it was discontinued along with 5-door I was disappointed to say the least. Write, e mail and call......but as long as the public looks to the SUV the wagon will never come here. I think that Acura is having poor sales with their TSX Wagon too!
Im not sure why the TSX wagon doesnt sell well, but I assume that it must be the price...... But man, IMO, the new 6 is on par with the A4 Wagon as far as exterior look.....
Edit: Email sent to Mazda USA......
Does anyone think they would bring it over in limited quantities or a special edition?
