Is the 2021 Infotainment system faster than the 2020?

Anyone have experience with both? Is the 2021 more responsive booting up and changing radio stations than the sloth-like speed on my 2020? I don't use satellite or plug in media

Yes it is.
Its a whole new system in 2021 and its much more refined and faster. The resolution is also better as well as the rear camera and it has the new connected remote services option.
Not the 2011 era slugish infotainment.

Thank you. I can't believe how painfully slow it is to sit through the bootup/warning/'I agree' before I can get the radio on. I'm getting more and more happy with my 2020 to 2021 decision

So when I hit up or down on the radio station selector on the steering it doesn't have as much of the painful delay on the 2020?

Unfortunately it does not work like it did previously. It does not change to the next station. It fast forwards satellite radio.

Huh? Other than going to favorites and scrolling, there must be a way to go up to your next programmed favorite.

Use the center knob and turn to scroll through favorites, that's it. It automatically goes to your favorites when you are listening and scroll. No need to hit the star "favorites" button.

Does using the center knob scroll then actually change it to the next station, or do you scroll then push to change it? I'm on the 2020 system and that's why these questions seem simple. And again, is there much delay when the station changes?

Turn to change, no need to push

Hmmm, when I use the command knob it just scrolls through my presets until I stop at one and push.

It's only slow when you turn it on. That's what most people complain about it.
