Is Obx no good?

i don't like my obx header anymore...i want to sell it but i don't know how to do it on this forum or any forum....

I have another exhaust leak already and it hasn't been more than a week since I patched it up the first time. ARG I am really thinking about getting a new header.

I am pretty sure I am getting a leak too, the car is has been getting louder the last week (rant) (pissed)

Ok so I have the Obx 4-to-1 header on my LX. I have a serious leak betweek the header and mid pipe flange. it sounds HORRIBLE. no fix i've tried has solved the problem. i was thinking it was an out of line midpipe, but if that was the case the downpipe from the stock Cat would have been misaligned too. my mechanic buddy said it is probably the header downpipe is bent wrong. If t hat is the case how do i get a new header, because i am sick of dealing with this. i am about to go back stock and just gutting out the cat.

your the third person in two days that i know that has had trouble with that product. talk to protephile. he has great quality headers.(alright) i didn't read the 2nd page of posts, GOD DAMN, take your headers to a local welder and have them reinforce ALL points. This should help alot more than some patch kit from autozone. If they say it's not worth it than return if you can if not do the weakest points only.(coffee)

NOW GIVE MY EWOK A CARROT

probly didnt follow the bolt sequence if any? How often is that problem, cause i plan on getting some in two weeks.

The only sequence would be a diamond pattern, using two spaces apart. Than fasten all the rest in, than fasten the rest. Tighten all of them at the same time. same as a tire

nahh, not at the head its down at the mid-pipe. But it was because i didnt have the donut gasket in there. the header itself is good.

No carrot for you!

It will leak really bad unless you have that gasket there. AWR sells them for like $10.

isn't there a piece you can use from the stock header....stock header gasket or whatever? hehe...i really suck at this....

What if you havethe OBX header andyou had to fab the mid pipe with a 2.25 piping. Can you stilluse that ring? I am still having exhaust leaks.

Ok i got the part from the dealership but I don't think this is it. The part number is BP48-40-581A this is what it looks like. is this the part?

thats a donut gasket. it goes on the the end of the header, where it connects to the midpipe/second cat
