Maybe its me, since i've never had a car without it, but it seems odd that my '14 T/tech doesn't have it. I thought it was standard on all cars.

Any suggestions on putting it in?

Thanks!

^ This.

Go get it done in 20% tint if not darker. Should be NO MORE than $60 even with high quality tint like Lumor and 3M.

thanks... at least its not just me. I'll look around. it really can look ghetto when not done in gradient tint at the factory. even more ghetto if it says "no fear" on black :D

A good tint guy will follow and cut around the stock windshield "black area" near the rear view mirror and make it look close to stock, I have seen it done. I say $50 tops.

I did mine in a local tint shop, 5 inches of 3M Color Stable 20 (20% tint) across. The 5 inches is to be within the legal limit. Paid $40.

IMHO, I don't want that aftermarket tint strip installed on top of my windshield, not attractive. Passengers will tend to touch edge of it to see what's going on, not good. I haven't missed the factory tint at top of windshield either.
