I just did some sleuthing.
The product(s) advertized on the ebay Store are NOT compatable. The product line is marketed under Axxess but the parent company that makes that product line is Metra Electronics. I just got off the phone with technical support over at Metra and they say that their current product line WILL NOT WORK with the DVD Nav units.
The person said that they ARE working on a solution, but not to believe claims that any "Axxess" products will currently work with a Mazda CX-7 with integrated DVD-Nav system.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.![]()

First, an aux board from http://www.sylfex.com/products/AuxMod/
Then, an AudioLink iPod adapter from The RPM Store http://www.therpmstore.com/product_info.php?cPath=57_58&products_id=142

Do you think the AuxMod Basic will work with CX-7 NAV?

So, you're saying this should work with the Nav? It's creating another input to use for the iPod? While I realize that you might not get full functionality through the touch screen, will it create an audio input, even with just RCA's? I have the HK Drive+Play which would connect through RCA and be an acceptable substitute until a fully functional solution is developed.HeavyH20 said:The head unit may be a little different on the front, but the plug in portion is the same. The NAV uses the extra port that the iPod adpater usually plugs in, so you are out of luck. But, the aux board uses the second available port. And, with the board, it simply creates an audio input port. So, no AudioLink needed.
