ipod Integration Manuals

Hello,

I am new to the forum and also a new proud owner of a 2010 CX-9.

I am going to be buying the ipod integration kit and wanted to do the installation myself. But before I purchase, I wanted to see if there was a manual in pdf somewhere in this forum.

I have been searching for hours and cant find it. I found a link with a bunch of manuals from installing Sirius to fog lights but nothing on the ipod integration.

The Sirius manual helped me considerably. I now know how to disassemble the dash.

I already know what modules I need to buy but just wanted to see a step by step installation to see if it is something I feel comfortable doing.

If you already know how to remove the panels to access the stereo (thanks to the PDFs that you read on installing Sirius) then you should not ahave any other problem installing the iPod Integration. The iPod Integration simply plugs into the back of the factory unit and all you have to do is secure the integration module to something and route the USB wire where you want it to reside...usually inside the glovebox.

Of the topic, but does anyone have a good link to an ipod cable to plug into the proprietary IPOD connection? Right now I am using the 3.5mm jack from my ipod touch and plugging it into the CX-9 AUX port, but I am thinking there has to be a better audio solution.

If you install the iPod interface unit and use an iPhone, does it play nice with the Bluetooth speakerphone?

Does anyone have this installed? I have a 2010 Touring with Multi Display and want to get this, however I mostly listen to Podcasts, which are not playlists (I do not want to have to add them to playlist).

Can anyone confirm if you can access PODCASTS via head unit?

does anyone have instructions for a 2010 CX-9 GT with nav? also the part numbers for the ipod integration? thanks - Just bought the car a couple of weeks ago and love it so far.
