Ipod Adaptor Problem...

Ok, got an ipod adaptor from a buddy and after pulling the head unit and plugging it in the ipod shows the Mazda wings but that is it. I can not get the headunit to switch over with either the SAT or the MEDIA buttons and the ipod says "ok to disconnect". Is there a syncing process or something that anyone knows of or can I not have the ipod with the 07 touring with Nav?

It was out of a Mazdaspeed6, I know that. The internet doesnt list 2 seperate part numbers, w/nav and w/o nav...

The iPod adapter is treated like a CD changer. Press the CD button until you see EX on the display. Press it again and it reverts back to the CD. I think the adapter is the same for all Mazdas of similar years. Mine had Mazda 3 directions in it.

So you have the 6 disc changer with Nav and that is how it works out? Would be great if it does. I will try it tonight!
