iPhone 5s not pairing to bluetooth

I did a search and couldn't find anyone having bluetooth issues with the new iphone 5s. I had a 4s that paired no problem. Now with the 5s, the phone never see's the car and the car's bluetooth never gets past the "bluetooth startup" message. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to reset the car's bluetooth without taking it back to the dealer?

Problem solved. Yesterday Mazda released a service update internally for the IPhone 5s and 5c. I went to the dealership yesterday and they said the update was not there in the morning, but was now listed in the afternoon. Anyways, their fix was to reset the entire stereo first and if that did not work, reset the vehicles electronic system. The tech physically unplugged the head unit, because the reset procedure (holding down setup and power button at the same time, didn't fix it). Once the system rebooted it synced to my iPhone 5s...however, like everyone else, many other features still do not work...like shuffle, messaging.
