Ion 3 inch turbo back installed

Yeah, with my mods now, running 9-10 lbs renders first gear absolutely useless if I don't feather it...I've still got stock tires of course...and motor mounts, braces, etc. Hooking up/power to the ground will be a short term goal here for me...

ION So what makes more power, your FMIC or your Exhaust. I imagine for the cost the full 3" makes more. Let me know when you can.

TheJohnny<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_778192", true); </SCRIPT> - we generally suggest increase the safety margin by going with the FMIC first before going with the exhaust. However, at stock boost levels, and if you had to pick between one of the 2, then the exhaust will make more power.

You will be easily over 200whp with our CAI, FMIC & Full Turbo-back exhaust @ stock boost levels though. They all work in conjunction with each other to optimize the efficiency of the car. After the point at which you have these 3 pieces, increasing each 1psi in boost will be almost equivalent to increase the stock MSP boost by over intervals of 5psi. (in terms of flow)

s*** I feel giddy... do you have the dyno pics for all the 3 items Jack (iON) that sounds waay to awesome... I can't wait to get all those parts...

Sushi-Monster - we're going to wait on Turbo Magazine's official publication for the exhaust dynos. We have some in-house R&D dynos that we did, but just to have uniformity we're going to wait on those.

You've probably already seen the FMIC & CAI articles w/ the dyno runs on them.

wow man im sold on ion..............hey is there a discount if i order the turbo back exhaust, fmic, and the cai ............and will i still pass emission test..........ugh and what about my factory warrenty

2003.5 turbo - there's no further discount on top of the member discounted prices. However if you do order them @ the same time, you do end up saving on shipping.

The hi-flow cat we use passes both US & Canadian Federal emissions standards.

If you're running stock boost levels, then your warranty should still be valid. When you up the boost, that's a different story.

Jack- your S-pipe doesn't include a piece that fits in the turbo housing between the turbo exhaust ports and the pipe to port match does it? the flange looks good, but the space around the wastegate port and the other exhaust gas port looks somewhat restricting.

i'm not sure if i'm explaining this well...if you want i can draw out a diagram for you.

I must admit the price is freakin insane. But finding people that can bend 3" pipe and do it right, atleast in the midwest is a pain in the ass. So I think Ion is going to become my friend soon:)
