i just bought my 08 mazdaspeed 3 black mica
and i was wondering if theres anything i needa know
how do i nicely break in my engine? like what rpm should i shift at
and all that good info

next, for break in drive it like a bat out of hell..

Don't redline it for the first 1000 miles. Get an oil change after those 1000 miles.

You should be fine beyond that.

According to the manual, the first 600 miles you should not "race" the engine, drive at the same RPM for extended periods of time, and slam on the brakes. This is what I folllowed.(drinks)

Reading this somewhat depresses me... I don't remember If I
"raced" my engine during the first 600 miles. I didn't slam on my brakes however

i didn't drive mine hard till that "burn break in smell" goes away..
